Child bucked off a young bull into a fence [94kb]
A young boy atop a young bucking bull requires the assistance of two men — one relentlessly pulling the animal's ears [416kb]
Boy narrowly escapes being crushed in the chute when the young bull he was about to 'ride' fell and rolled to its side to get up [416kb]
Young riders were being released into the arena while young bulls were still running loose. This is a breach of rodeo permit regulations — animals must be removed from the arena before more are released (for safety reasons). Jeanie and Troy witnessed up to three terrified and distressed animals running about colliding with each other while children 'competed' at the Keith 2005 rodeo. [516kb]
Children climb the portable arena fencing. A one tonne bull could smash through these fences easily, at the very least hit a child and throw them off or crush an arm, leg or head. Jeanie restrained children not yet able to walk, from climbing under the fence on at least three occasions; and toddlers climbing into yards containing bucking horses and bulls.
